HOSPITAL VISITING
The Hospital Visiting Team that Services Torrevieja Hospital had to suspend it's work in March 2011 . The hospital found it necessary to enforce the " Patients rights " and data Prevention law which meant that they were prevented from disclosing the names and location of English speaking patients.
We have maintained contact with the hospital administration to see how this valuable service could be re-instated and at our last meeting with the Administrator we think a solution has been found.
We, at "Help" , will produce a simply worded leaflet explaining the situation to patients and the Hospital , for it's part, will try to ensure that all English speaking patients receive a copy.

Emergency LineThe volunteers who man our 24 hour emergency line both day and night respond to a variety of calls. Typical enquiries are ‘what to do when a death occurs’ – They are also asked what to do when someone is taken ill in the night, or has been robbed. Other calls include enquiries about loss of passports and for locksmiths. To obtain the numbers of the volunteers on duty when the office is closed just call 966 723 733.
